Here is the awesome recipe for the famous “Edo Japan” Teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup part Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
- 1/2 cup part white sugar
- 2 cups parts water
- 3-4 Tbsp corn starch (as needed for thickening)
Directions:
- Place Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce in a medium sized pot.
- Add water.
- Add sugar.
- Place on high and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- After all the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is boiling, dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of water and stir into boiling mixture.
- Stir on high until desired thickness is obtained, may need to put more corn starch in.
- Place on low once desired thickness is obtained.
